Super fast, super good the food!

We ordered a carp take away there. Since we lived further away, I asked if we could have it unfried so that we could finish it at home. That wasn't a problem and I thought that was really great. In addition to the three carp, we got five fillets that were again a good 500 g, three HUGE salads and lemons and everything was packed really well so that there was no fishy smell in the car. Finally we got 8 pieces of cake that was also delicious. And the price was really great. Very quaint shop that really made a nice and personable impression. When the situation is relaxed again I will definitely go out to eat in the village.

Home-style food. I had a mixed grill plate. The next table had a large pan with various meat specialties and side dishes. Unfortunately we couldn't find them on the map. It would have been a shame for us too.

Took advantage of the last day before the lockdown and went to eat again. I opted for half a medium-sized carp, my partner for carp fillet. It was by far the worst carp I have ever eaten. The price-performance ratio didn't work at all here, over € 14 for this carp that didn't taste good with it, my partner's fillet for over € 17, that's just too expensive.

Not for the first time and certainly not for the last time, I stayed with joy in this beautiful old mill with a hydroelectric power station. There is Franconian upscale cuisine, starters and desserts as well as various wines, spirits, Franconian beers and non-alcoholic drinks. Something for everyone. There are also special requests and plates for senior citizens. It fits - as the Franconian says.

Solid restaurant, furnishings a bit overloaded. The food is quite good and inexpensive. Service very friendly. The hotel offers simple but clean rooms at reasonable prices.

Phanastic Restaurant with Biergarten and own Brewery in a lovely renovated old mill located next to the lite river Aisch. Try the "Eiszeitweizen"!

We were en route on our 3 day carp eating trip. The carp at the "Kohlenmühle" was by far the best prepared. Everything was right around it. We dined very well, the ambience was very nice and the staff was very friendly. We look forward to a next time.

Very attentive staff, very friendly, always in a good mood. Food was delicious. We felt completely at ease. For the children there are also menus and a small gift for school enrollment. I can only recommend it!

Was there for the second time. In the self-service beer garden a very good selection of dishes and very tasty. Even as a woman, I like the Moggele beer. Senior boss is from table to table and has a little chat, nice gesture

Very tasty, Franconian cuisine, super friendly and attentive staff. Cozy atmosphere, always with pleasure here, whether for a cozy meal for two, with friends or for small celebrations. Was always very satisfied.

I was in the coal mill's beer garden. That evening there was grilled mackerel, my companion ate a currywurst with french fries. Unfortunately there was only one roll with the fish, no other side dish. The food was good. You sit in an exceptionally romantic way by the water. Gladly again

Very tasty food and pleasant atmosphere Actually, I rarely go out to eat in German / Franconian, but I love the coal mill in Neustadt. Super delicious and varied food. You can eat in the quiet inner courtyard and you don't have to wait too long

Very, very tasty food, good wines and their own beer. Very friendly service. The beer garden as well as the whole coal mill is simply beautiful.

My mother-in-law favourite place to eat when we visit her. The Restaurant the atmosphere the food is to die for, typical awesome German food.

Great food, already tried different dishes as we build a small house nearby. Always happy to be there, it's fast, tastes good, honest kitchen. Staff always friendly and accommodating. You can only recommend!

We were here for the first time with friends. Very nice atmosphere and the staff was very nice and professional. The beer from our own production tastes excellent and the food was of high quality. Overall, you can only rate the stay as very good. Clear recommendation.

Brilliant location with a beer garden right by the river side. Locally brewed beer, very helpful staff and a nice interior and exterior setting. Lots of curious articles or historic tools decorate the place. Food was exactly what I was looking for. I'd gladly come here again if I was in the area.

It's a little and historical place.

Good food. portions are too heavy on the meat side. Side dishes are not given a priority here even though they make a good dish a special one. Thus only 4 stars.

Located on the outskirts of Neustadt an der Aisch. Next to the Aisch. Friendly staff. Has its own bakery, brewery and home style outdoor restaurant. Delicious home brew beer. Great breakfast buffet select. Rooms in a barn type loft, good for a traditional experience.
